I bought a used copy of Patapon for PSP and found it strangely addicting. Patapon can best be described as a rhythm-based real-time strategy game. The real hook of Patpon is that the music is a heavy part of the game play. You play percussion instruments and it gets the little eyeball things on screen to do things. Trick is, you have to get the timing down or they'll stare at you like you're an idiot. The real joy is when they start flinging spears, shooting arrows, or chopping up the stuff in their path. They even dance when you're putting in the commands via drum. They also sing the command you've given them, which forces you to wait before putting in the next command.

It's fun, and there's apparently a third title in the series coming out this month.
