Chrome OS dev 0.10.156.18: Now with HD Content

OK Minor updates, bugfixes. I JUST got the thing finished updating so can't be entirely sure if what I've noticed is accurate or a case of me wanting to find stuff with updates. Pages seem to scroll better. My about:flags options were kept in this update instead of rolling back to defaults as with all other updates.

Here's the text dump from the about screen.

Great. There we go. So what's the big fuss over? Well one of the initial complaints about the Cr-48 and Chrome OS was it could only do 480p on youtube. Guess what guys? That's been fixed. I can get 720p nao. Granted it's choppy and the video I'd wanted to post here (scale of the universe if anyone's interested) to prove it broke tables (and turned out to have been pulled due to having some background music that was copyrighted) but my point stands. We're one step closer to something mass consumer ossum.

Oh and my connection needing reconfig whenever crate reboots seems to have also been fixed, apparently anyway. Minor but constant annoyance. I am glad it is taken care of.

Though there are reports of HD not working and of other problems so far in the brief time since I've updated I have none of that. Horizontal scrolling, which came in last update, is still fussy, but nothing seems broke. Sadly mechquest is still not wanting to load up for me, but then again even in 'show details' I'm still listed as having Flash 10.1, but that makes no sense because with the old flash i wouldn't have any options with youtube right? Or was it a case of optimizing the gpu? I dunno.
